Regional Network

California's Small Business Development Center program began operating in 1989 and has grown to 45 centers, outnumbering all other states.

The State of California is organized into 6 regions, each having a lead center and hosted branch offices. Each region corresponds with the SBA district offices.

For the Greater Los Angeles area, The Long Beach Community College is the Lead Center, providing leadership to 10 SBDCs in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
