SMALL BUSINESS BREAKFAST SERIES:  CROWDFUNDING

Both seasoned and budding entrepreneurs are turning to crowdfunding
to start or grow their businesses. According to entrepreneur magazine,
there were over one million successful crowdfunding campaigns in 2012
that raised over $2.7 billion. In the next Small Business Breakfast Series,
we will be discussing best practices for launching a successful
crowdfunding campaign.

Justin Massion is the founder of JAM Studios, a company dedicated
to developing new properties across Technology, Entertainment, and
Design. As a crowdfunding specialist, Justin has helped raised over half a
million dollars for various clients and build custom crowdfunding sites like
GetStuckInTheaters.com, which is about to hit their $150,000 goal. Justin
began his career working for a top industrial design firm, RKS Design, and
later attended Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Full Sail University, and Columbia
College of Hollywood. An active public speaker, Justin has presented on
panels for Comic-Con, Film Angels, Angel Launch, Digital LA, and
Chapman
University.

Audra Quinn is the cofounder and CEO of UNCORKED! the party game
of wine, wit & wordplay. Audra successfully raised over $28,000 with 533
backers on Kickstarter in March, 2014. She is a writer by trade with 10 years
of publishing experience across multiple channels and industries. She earned
an MBA with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University
in August, 2013 and was the winner of the 2013 Pepperdine University
Business Plan Competition.
